Welcome to 'Eden' at Queens CofE Academy; a specialist resource provision for key stage two pupils with a primary need of Communication & Interaction who have high level cognition and learning needs.  The SRP can accommodate up to 8 pupils.

Eden offers a self contained space with access to the main schools outdoor space and provides a safe, nurturing and supportive environment for children who need support at a higher level than the mainstream classroom.  The provision has various stations that can be accessed by the children throughout the day.  Children will access the Collective Worship playtimes & lunchtimes with the whole school.

We support each child to progress both academically and socially so that they are prepared to manage their individual needs outside of the school environment and become independent learners.  We celebrate all successes, address areas of challenge and make sure that each child feels nurtured and respected so that they are ready to learn alongside their peers.

Our staff strive to help all children to feel welcomed and valued in a place where they are able to grow and learn.  Pupils are assessed and learning is planned to meet their individual needs, it encompasses both the National Curriculum, their EHCP and a focus on social and emotional development.  Where appropriate, pupils will be supported to access mainstream classes, this will look different for each pupil and be very carefully planned and reviewed. 

Children who attend Eden will be on roll at Queens CofE Academy and will truly encompass our motto 'Love in Action'.  Entry to the provision is via Warwickshire County Council, who will assess the child’s suitability and decide whether the provision can meet the child’s needs.
